ASUS updated The ExpertBook B9 as its lightest 14-inch laptop yet. It has several exciting features. For example, it weighs 880 grams. That’s 360 grams less than the 14-inch MacBook Air. At the same time, the ExpertBook B9 also has a 14-inch display.

True, there are several differences. The first is the screen resolution: ASUS has 1920 × 1080, while MacBook Air has 2560 × 1664. ASUS has 400 nits, and MacBook has 500 nits.
Move on. We are interested in two models: B9450CBA-XVE75 or B9450CBA-XVE77. In both cases, there is a mobile Intel i7-1255U. Both models differ in versions. The former comes with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal memory in the form of an SSD. The second is 32 GB of RAM and a 2 TB SSD. Except for the processor, it sounds more interesting than a MacBook!
Another exciting feature is the touchpad, which can be used as a Numpad. Looks funny:

The laptop received two Thunderbolt 4 in Type-C format, USB-A 3.2, one HDMI 2.0b, and one micro HDMI:

They also promise Harman Kardon sound with Dolby Atmos support. I hope this laptop sounds better than usual. But, most likely, the same Air puts it on the shoulder blades, as it usually happens.
ASUS ExpertBook B9 received a 66 Wh battery. It is claimed that it will be enough for 16 hours of video viewing.

The price is $1840 for the younger and $2440 for the older model before taxes. By the way, a MacBook Air with 16 GB of combined memory and a 1 TB SSD will cost $ 1899, and for the same version, but for a 2 TB SSD, they will ask for $ 2299. True, it is heavier than Asus.
