The rumor about reverse charging in the iPhone appeared several years ago. She was expected to debut in the iPhone 12 line.
As it turned out, reverse charging is there, and it even works, but only with an external Apple battery when the iPhone is charged via Lightning.
But everyone has been waiting for another reverse charge that will allow you to charge AirPods, Apple Watch, or another iPhone by simply placing it on the back of the primary device.
The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has published a new application by Apple, in which we are talking about the “correct” reverse charging. But there is no information about when it will appear on the iPhone. Perhaps it will be added to the iPhone 15, and maybe it will be shown only in two years – there is no exact data yet.
Maybe reverse wireless charging will only appear on the iPhone 15 Ultra to further separate it from the regular Pro version. Earlier it was reported that the smartphone would receive a dual front camera, a periscope camera, USB-C instead of Lightning, and 256 GB of memory in the basic version. So why not add reverse charging as well?
