Apple is developing several new external monitors, including the second-generation Pro Display XDR. Mark Gurman shared the information from Bloomberg in the Power On newsletter.
The monitors will receive an Apple chip like the Studio Display introduced this year. There are no other details about the monitors and the timing of their launch.
9to5Mac previously reported that Apple is working on a 7K display. Perhaps this is the second generation of Pro Display XDR. If the diagonal of 32 inches is maintained, the pixel density will increase to 245 PPI compared to 218 PPI. If the pixel density is maintained, the diagonal can be increased to 46 inches.

Ross Young, another insider, reported on the development of a 27-inch monitor with miniLED and ProMotion. It may be presented in the first quarter of 2023.
Apple currently has two monitors in its range: a 27-inch Studio Display 5K for $1,599 and a 32-inch Pro Display XDR 6K for $4,999.
