Apple’s MR headset, which could be unveiled next year, could scan the wearer’s iris to make payments, according to The Information.
Scanners will also be used to identify the owner. The MR headset is supposed to be a “family” device, and quick identification is essential.
The headset will have 14 cameras. This amount is necessary for better capture of movements. Two cameras will point downwards to follow the user’s feet.
The headset will be made of glass and aluminum, and the parts adjacent to the face will be covered with a mesh fabric. There will be special lens clips inside if the wearer is wearing glasses.
According to Bloomberg, the headset will be introduced next year. The price is 2000 dollars.
