Apple has released the second beta of iOS 16.2, iPadOS 16.2, and macOS Ventura 13.1.
The systems have fixed bugs and improved overall stability. For example, we fixed a camera bug that made it impossible to exit the application. They also added the Medicines widget, and support for fifth-generation networks appeared in India.
iOS 16.2 introduced the Freeform app. It is a “canvas” for real-time collaboration. You can add images, sketches, and tables and discuss all this simultaneously via FaceTime.

The architecture of the Home app has also been updated to support the Matter intelligent home standard. More and more manufacturers are announcing updates to their devices and adding support for Matter. There are many pluses: soon, you will not have to choose accessories that support a specific protocol – everything will work with both iOS and Android devices out of the box.
iPadOS 16.2 brought back support for an external display when using Stage Manager, which was gone in the release of iPadOS 16.1—supported on tablets with Apple M1 and M2 systems-on-a-chip.

We do not recommend installing beta versions: some applications may not start, the device may reboot spontaneously, and autonomy will be worse than before. Do you need it?
