According to a study by the analytical agency Canalys, Apple has once again successfully made the technology mass-produced. We are talking about ARM chips in computers.
Previously, Qualcomm and Microsoft tried to make mobile chips mass-produced, but only Apple succeeded, which in 2020 announced the transition to chips of its design. A few Apple computers run on Intel processors, but if rumors are to be believed, they will be replaced next year with new Apple Silicon models.
Now about 15% of all PCs are equipped with ARM chips. Canalys believes that by 2026 the share of computers will at least double. Also, about half of the servers will run on ARM chips by this time.
