How to fix Logitech wireless mouse that is not working
Well, this Logitech wired Mouse not working error due to related issues like battery drain, USB ports or mouse driver issue. Therefore, you had better first make sure that this error is caused by what kind of problem. Well, let’s start with the methods that we can try to fix.
Method 1- Fix Logitech USB Mouse Not Working
Sometimes the wireless mouse may not work due to the problem with a USB port. In that case, you need to unplug the USB receiver from the USB port of your device. Then wait a few seconds before plugging it back in. So by removing and plugging the receiver back in, your wireless mouse can start working again.
The next thing you can try is to remove the battery from your wireless mouse. Or you can try the Logitech Mouse reset button which will turn off the wireless mouse. Now put the battery back in and turn on the mouse to see if the problem persists.
Method 2- Update and repair the mouse driver
It may happen that the problem is with the mouse driver, therefore in that case the mouse will not connect. You can visit the Logitech drivers directory at rocket drivers and find the right driver for your mouse. You can check the status of the controller by going to Device administrator . Follow the steps to do it.
Step 1- Open run and type devmgmt.msc at the command. Press Enter.
Step 2- It will open the Device Manager > go to device > Search mice and other pointing devices .
Step 3- Find the logitech mouse . Now if it shows a yellow mark then there is a problem with the driver.
Step 4- Right click > uninstall . restart your computer.
reinstall the controller again.
Method 3 – Scan for hardware changes
Step 1- Open Execute > write devmgmt.msc and press Enter.
Step 2- Find your wireless mouse .
Step 3- Right click on your wireless mouse > Search hardware changes .
Method 4- Use Driver Easy to update drivers
Step 1- Download and install the easy driver .
Step 2- Run the option easy controller > scan now . This will automatically check for and download all available updates for your Windows computers.
