Xiaomi has an impressive arsenal of various wireless headphones that provide a potential buyer with the opportunity to get modern technology for a reasonable price. And today, May 13, the manufacturer officially introduced the new FlipBuds Pro, which, apparently, is a direct response to Apple’s AirPods Pro headphones. The main feature of the new Xiaomi headphones is the presence of active noise cancellation technology – for this, several omnidirectional microphones are used at once, capturing the environment’s noise. And the user can also choose one of three noise suppression modes – office, daily commuting, and air travel.

Moreover, the manufacturer decided to focus on the sound quality of the new headphones. The device is based on 11 mm speakers, three microphones, adaptive support for the aptX audio codec, and Bluetooth 5.2 technology. With all its advantages in terms of sound and suppression of the noise of stars from the sky in terms of autonomy, the headphones do not suffice – with the noise-canceling technology turned on, the battery life is five the function turned off – seven hours. Additionally, the user can use the case to recharge the gadget – the built-in battery is enough to add up to 28 hours of work to the headphones.

And so that the user does not sit at the outlet for too long while waiting for their headphones to charge, the manufacturer has implemented a fast-charging function – five minutes on the outlet is enough for the user to listen to music for two hours, and a full charge takes 35 minutes. Additionally, Xiaomi talked about the support for wireless charging in the case, gestures for controlling various functions of the smartphone, which are clearly taken from the Apple device, the presence of a “transparency” mode, and quick pairing of several devices.

Xiaomi FlipBuds Pro will go on sale in China from May 21 for $124. Pre-orders for the new product start now. But, unfortunately, the manufacturer has no plans for a global launch of these headphones yet.
