In the previous version of Windows 10, it was quite difficult to uninstall any program. We would have to find the tool of Add or Remove Programs inherited from the dashboard that normally doesn’t appear even when you search uninstall the program in the Windows 10 start menu.
In the new version of Windows 10 April Update v1803, fortunately, the button Uninstall has been added to the configuration of Applications and Features . It makes uninstalling programs in Windows 10 much easier compared to the method of Add or Remove Programs in previous builds.

How to uninstall programs in Windows 10 through apps and features
As we’ve already mentioned, this method will only work on PCs that have already applied the Windows 10 April Update. Otherwise, you won’t see the Uninstall button listed. To uninstall a program in Windows 10, follow the steps below.
- Go to the search menu.
- Search for apps and features. Open it.
- Select the application or program you want to uninstall.
- Click on the Uninstall button.
- You will be warned that the application and its related information will be uninstalled .
- Click the button Uninstall again.
That’s it. The program should now be completely uninstalled and completely removed from your PC.
In the screenshot above, we used Candy Crush Saga as an example of how to uninstall a program in Windows 10. Select the program you want to uninstall instead during step 3.
Uninstall a program in Windows 10 using the inherited method
If you don’t see the app you want to uninstall from the list of apps and features, or if you don’t even have the April update applied first, you’ll need to use the above method to uninstall the program. Here we’ll explain to you how to do it.
- Go to the start menu.
- I searched the control panel and open it
- On Programs , click on Uninstall a program .
- Find the application or program you want to remove from the list.
- Select it and then click Uninstall (next to the button Organize ).
It is entirely up to you which method you want to use to uninstall your program. Both methods will do the same job when uninstalling a program. As you may already know, if you let Windows uninstall your programs, it will sometimes leave traces that you may not like.
