IKEA unveils new temperature and air quality sensor

Posted on February 16, 2023

VINDSTYRKA monitors temperature, humidity, PM2.5 levels, as well as the amount of volatile organic compounds (TVOC).

All data is displayed on a color display. There is a scale of general assessment: green – good, red – very bad. All data can also be tracked in the IKEA Home app and, if necessary, activate other smart home devices, such as an air purifier.

The device will go on sale in Europe in April, although it can already be found in some countries for 40 euros.
