Intel has announced that in 2023 it will phase out the Pentium and Celeron brands used in its entry-level processors.
They will be replaced by a new brand – Processor. This will simplify the product hierarchy and focus buyers on the flagship brands Core, Evo, and vPro.
Pentium processors first appeared in 1993, and Celeron – in 1998. What will be the lineup of the new series is unknown. The presentation of the first products is scheduled for the first quarter of next year.
