If we take the models presented over the past four years, then this is already 81%. About 20% of all iPhone users stay on iOS 15, and 8% stay on older systems.
On iPadOS 16, updates are not as active: 50% of all supported devices and 53% of those released in the last four years. 37% stayed on iPadOS 15, while 13% stayed on other versions.
In December 2022, analytics firm Mixpanel stated that iOS 16 was installed on 69.2% of all supported iPhones. The statistics covered the first 100 days after the release of the system. If we take the first 10 days, then iOS 16 was installed on 23.83% of supported devices, and iOS 15 a year earlier – at 19.3%.
