A computer headset is primarily designed to play out game effects well and record a high-quality voice. These are basic values, and everything else is modern and not always necessary bells and whistles. This is how you can describe the idea of creating Logitech G335. Appearance and ergonomics
The headset belongs to the new generation of Logitech G peripherals with a stylish, lightweight design and unusual color combinations. I got a white version with blue contrasting accents and a multi-colored headband. There is also a black version with purple accents and a mint with purple accents. The latter is not available in Russia. The case combines matte plastic with a texture and thin glossy inserts around the perimeter. Fingerprints are completely invisible on white, so all surfaces remain neat for a long time.
The format is also different from most computer headsets. It’s all about a headband made of elastic fabric with two fixed positions. This is a cool decision in terms of ergonomics. The headset weighs 240 grams and feels airy. It is also possible to fine-tune the height in a minimal interval by shifting the cups themselves – Logitech engineers thought of everything.
The ear cups are given a small degree of freedom in two planes to fit the ears perfectly. Despite the adjustments, the design feels sturdy and reliable without a single squeak or unnecessary backlash.

The ear cushions are completely fabric, which means they are breathable. The material is very skin-friendly and does not fog up the ears after a few hours. The ear cushions are removed together with the center part and can be replaced after wearing them out after a few years.

Connection and management
For maximum compatibility with different devices, the Logitech G335 connects via a 3.5mm audio jack. One plug is responsible for both sound and microphone. The non-detachable cable extends from the left cup and is 1.8 meters long. The thin rubber braid is far from the gaming standard, but it is almost weightless and does not pull the headset off – this is another plus for the ergonomics box.

To connect to a computer, use a standard splitter for two separate audio jacks.

There is a volume wheel on the back of the left cup. The adjustment is analog and adds a second level, so, during testing, I turned the system volume to the maximum and operated only with the headset. There are no toggle buttons for the microphone, and this is not required since to turn off the recording, it is proposed to fold the boom.

Sound and microphone
It is based on 40mm dynamic emitters. The company did not disclose the type of acoustic design, but the Logitech G335 feels like closed-back headphones with good isolation from external noise. Due to the lack of its own audio card, the sound depends a lot on the source. The novelty has shown a discreet character with good detail in the entire range with my laptop and smartphone. The speakers respond well to the equalizer, but there is no utility for headphones with an analog interface.

The flip-up microphone is on the left. Its flexible bar, though reluctant, allows for adjustment of the distance to the mouth.

There is no particular point in fine-tuning the microphone, the audibility is good anyway, and the quality is high, especially considering the analog interface. The sound of the voice is very voluminous and natural, as if the interlocutor is not at the other end of the world but in the same room. But most of all, the cleanliness pleases: the unidirectional microphone practically does not get extraneous noise, for example, from an open window.
Feedback after two weeks of use
Lightweight headsets with a bouncy headband, in which you can spend long hours playing, evoke an enjoyable emotion in me. This is the best format for my taste: ergonomics are much more important than additional options and lighting. In this sense, Logitech G335 can be considered a reference option with a neutral sound and a high-quality microphone. The lightweight did not affect the reliability, and the headset’s design is perfectly combined with the G915 TKL keyboard and the G305 mouse – they are representatives of the same series.

Only the price can push away. For a relatively simple headset with a fixed wire and an audio jack, they ask for $69.99. For the same money, you can find an option with a USB connection, which by default excludes extraneous interference and other interference. On the other hand, the G335 takes on its simplicity and lightness. And ergonomics is a guarantee of the absence of fatigue in long-term races of games.

Pros:
- unpretentious design with contrasting accents;
- lightweight and ergonomic design;
- lack of squeaks and unnecessary backlash;
- neutral sound, amenable to tuning by an equalizer;
- high-quality microphone without extraneous noise during recording;
- splitter for PC included.
Minuses:
- non-removable wire;
- unreasonably high price.
May not like:
- rubberized cable sheath instead of braided.
