As expected, Apple abandoned the second presentation in the fall – new products appeared on the site. The base iPad update is the most exciting announcement yet.
The 10th generation tablet received a new design: straight edges, like the older Air and Pro, Touch ID in the power button, and the same frames on all sides. Four colors: silver, pink, yellow, and blue.
The novelty received a 10.9-inch display with a resolution of 2360 × 1640 pixels and a peak brightness of 500 nits. There is True Tone support.
As an Apple A12 Bionic system-on-a-chip, it was introduced with the iPhone 12. Wi-Fi 6 and fifth-generation networks are supported, and USB-C is used for charging with the ability to connect all accessories.
iPad 10 supports the first-generation Apple Pencil (which needs to be charged via an adapter) and the new Magic Keyboard Folio: the stand and keyboard are two separate parts. The keyboard’s connector has moved to one of the faces.

12 MP primary camera with support for 4K video recording. The front one is also 12 megapixels with support for the Center Stage function and has moved to the right side when looking at the tablet in a vertical orientation.

The tablet will be available in four versions: 64 or 256 GB with a Wi-Fi module for $449 and $599; 64 and 256 GB with Wi-Fi + 5G for $599 and $749, respectively. The Magic Keyboard Folio will cost another $249. The pre-order is open from today, and the start of sales will take place on October 26.
