Reality Pro MR headset will make 2023 a very boring year for other Apple products – Techsuppo

Posted on January 9, 2023

The mixed-reality headset, which Apple has been developing for several years, will be available in the spring. It will go on sale before the end of the year, tentatively in the fall- reported by Mark Gurman of Bloomberg.

At the same time, Reality Pro, as it is called in Apple living rooms, will also be discussed at WWDC 2023, which will open in early June. And if the first presentation will be directly about the product, then the second will be dedicated to xrOS, the operating system on which Reality Pro runs.

I talked more about the MR headset on our website:

Reality Pro is expected to sell for around $3,000. This will make the product niche. It does not add comfort, and the charge of the battery is only enough for two hours. Let it be removable and easily replaceable. This option does not cause delight. And the question is: what will be the content? Apple is only working on its applications and an analog of Facetime, where users can communicate with their digital avatars.

Mr. Gurman says it will be Apple’s flagship product this year. Because all forces are thrown at him, the rest of the company’s products will suffer. For example, iOS and iPadOS 17 and macOS 14 will not receive significant innovations.
