Sennheiser unveiled the world’s first Ambeo Soundbar Plus with 7.1.4 sound at IFA 2022 in Barcelona.
There are nine speakers inside: three are directed forward, two upwards and are responsible for creating surround sound, two speakers on the sides, and two four-inch woofers directed upwards.
7.1.4 sound doesn’t require additional cables or satellite speakers, all from one device, unless you can buy an Amber Sub subwoofer with a 350 W power capable of reproducing bass up to 27 Hz.
The soundbar supports Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and 360 Reality Audio. AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, and Google Chromecast can be used for wireless audio streaming.
The Sennheiser Ambeo Soundbar Plus will go on sale on September 22. The novelty was estimated at $1,500, and the subwoofer must pay $700.
